One of the most legendary original version cinemas in Madrid, the Golem was a pioneer in offering films in foreign languages and now offers all its films in the original language. Yelmo Cines Ideal
Right in the centre of Madrid is this beautiful building showing original language and Spanish dubbed films. This is one of the few cinemas in Madrid where you can see 3D films in their original version. It usually offers the latest releases and some independent titles.

Artistic Metropol
Another of the oldest cinemas in Madrid, the Artistic Metropol offers auteur and independent films, classics, short films and also festival sessions. Considered one of the best original version cinemas in Madrid, it also offers the option of renting a private cinema room for groups for a price starting at 5€ per person.

Cines Renoir Plaza de España
Another of Madrid's iconic OV cinemas, the Renoir offers the best subtitled fiction and documentary films, with European and international cinema. This is one of the most extensive cinemas in Madrid, and has three locations in the capital: Princesa, Plaza de España and Retiro.

Cine Doré
Undoubtedly the most beautiful cinema in Madrid, it is worth a visit just to see this emblematic building which houses the Spanish Film Library (Filmoteca Española). Most of the cycles held at the Doré include films in VOSE (Spanish subtitbles), which are sometimes free.

Sala Equis
This cinema was known in the 80s for being an X-rated cinema that screened erotic films. Nowadays, it is one of the most unique cinemas in Madrid, due to its magnificent location in an old palace and its wide range of international film screenings.
